DIY instruments

This Open Stomp project is one of the best ideas I’ve heard in a while for guitar effects. Essentially it’s an open source guitar stomp box with fully reprogrammable knobs, inputs, and outputs. The effects can be customized from programming, or by sharing and creating banks. The downside, $349 and its Wind

ows only.

Someone has to make a step or analog sequencer and a pitch pedal for this thing for some Map of the Problematique action (youtube).

Here is a DIY tri-color monome clone. If you don’t know what a monome is, check it out.

I’m also really liking this enclosure for an Arduino pocket piano. Not quite sure why but it seems like a fun build. Also this whole guitar creating workshop for kids seems pretty cool.
